Importance of self growth in India.

By Protima Tiwary

In recent times, I’ve learnt and unlearnt a whole bunch of things in the professional sphere, something that reflected on my blog and social media too.

I found myself to be more confident of my work, and at peace with the fact that the kind of work that I do might take time to pick up.

I think a lot of it has to do with gratefulness. Gratitude teaches you to be happy with what you have, and next thing you know, you realise how lucky you are to have been blessed with everything in your life.

I started this practice by maintaining a gratitude journal, and I think this is when I saw things truly manifesting

I believe that a lot of things that happen professionally have a lot to do with your personal outlook on things.

Simple things like work-life balance, giving time to yourself and your family, taking time off and spending some me-time for your personal growth make a large impact.

How do we make sure we’re learning and growing because of what we’re reading, watching or listening to?

Honestly, I believe this can only happen if you WANT to be motivated to learn and grow

The last few years for me have been transformational because I grew emotionally, mentally and physically strong.

I took the help of mentors, healers, spiritual gurus, personal trainers and yoga teachers to grow. Initially it all sounded silly to me.

If you're considering getting started with a little help, there is absolutely nothing embarrassing about getting a guide! In fact a guide will open up a whole new world for you.

Hope this helps, check out my stories on how to keep going no matter what.
