The rate at which pizzerias are coming up all over town, pizzas will take over the city (maybe world?) one day. It’s always fun to see gastronomic delights heading our way, but very few things get us as excited as pizzerias. And I have a feeling the owners of “The Greedy Man Pizzeria” understand our feels- the name couldn’t have been more apt. I went over one evening with a couple of friends, and the greedy in me could not be controlled.
The Greedy Man Pizzeria is located in the Fortleza complex in Kalyani Nagar. Which means 2 things-
1. Finding a parking spot can be painful
2. The eatery isn’t exactly spread over a sprawling property. And I think that’s the best thing about it. I fell in love with the decor.
AMBIANCE
I loved the old-school charm of the quirky decor. Cassettes, recorders, vases, bicycles, rustic paint & retro designs dominate the interiors. The interiors in fact have been a huge hit as far as the user reviews on Zomato are concerned. I particularly liked the seating upstairs. It’s cute without an overload of colors and prints. The solid colors used in the interiors are a hit.
The chairs upstairs are a tad bit uncomfortable though. I had to shift over to the benches since my back started hurting 🙁 (short people problems?)
SERVICE
The service seems pretty neat. The guys are attentive and know how to give you your privacy too. I had read a review where they spoke about finding it difficult to get the waiters to pay attention to the tables upstairs- they seemed to have worked on this as we faced no such problem.
FOOD AND DRINKS
We tried 6 out of 7 pizzas available. And here is what we thought of them-
Nutella Shake- I have a feeling I’m going to be stopping by for this once every…few days? Addictions are evil, addictions are gorgeous. Whipped cream, nutella, chocolate, milk- how can you possibly go wrong with this?
