For those of you who’re too scared to step into the world of butter, sugar and cream- you’re gonna love this one. And those of you who have been “planning” to switch to the healthier side, here’s your chance for a healthy makeover.
Here’s how you can bake some of your favorite cookies without sacrificing the taste or the texture (Yippee!!!)
150gm Flour
5gm Baking Powder
5gm Cinnamon Powder
Salt (a pinch)
100gm Butter
100gm Brown sugar
50gm Castor sugar
2 eggs
Vanilla Essence (few drops)
200gm oats/muesli
100gm Raisins
1.Whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
2.Beat the butter and sugar mixture for 2-3minutes with an electric beater. Add the eggs (one at a time) and the vanilla essence.
3.To the butter and sugar mixture, add the flour mixture and beat till they are just about combined. Do not over mix.
Mix in the oats and raisins by hand.
4.On a baking sheet drop a spoonful of that mixture. Make sure they are placed far apart.
5.Bake for 12-15minutes. Rotate the sheets halfway through in order to get an even coloring.
Health cookies are nice…and all about health.Bake them in heart shaped silicon pans, it adds in a little extra love.
*tee hee*
