“Japan’s best kept secret”, “The Japanese Giant”, “Japan’s gift to chocolate lovers” are some of the phrases often heard while talking about ROYCE CHOCOLATES. Known for their texture, flavour and taste, Royce Chocolates have been introduced in India via 7 stores in Delhi, Bombay, Bangalore, Kolkatta and now Pune. Yes lovers of chocolate and all things divine, this luxury chocolate brand is now in our very own city 🙂
Royce launched in Phoenix Market City a couple of weeks ago, and I got myself a quick tour of the store. Here are some snippets from the launch-
I tasted Royce’s signature product- the Nama ( meaning fresh and pure in Japanese) range, a creamy, moist, truffle like ganache known for it’s melt-in-the-mouth texture. The flavours include Ghana Bitter, Mild Cacao and Pierre Mignon.
I then went on to taste a whole lot of chocolaty goodness that included the Coffee Chocolate, the Prafeuille Chocolate (inspired by French pastry Mille-feuille), the Baton Cookies, Criollo Chocolate, Pure chocolate (Sweet & Milk, Venezuela Bitter & Ghana Sweet), Amande Chocolate (chocolate covered almonds) and the PotatoChip Chocolate (a quirky combination of potato chips covered in chocolate)
This definitely is good news for those who love their chocolates. These divine pieces of heaven come at a price and I’d personally prefer gifting them over buying them for personal consumption.
