The Guilt After Diwali- HIIT Workouts

After a whole bunch of weddings and Diwali I’m feeling guilty about all the carbs that I have stuffed myself with. Which is probably why you’d see me at the gym for over 2 hours 4 times a week (those following me on Snapchat (@dumbbellsndrama) know what I mean) Plus I have less than 20 days to prepare for a 21km that I recently signed up for. Fortunately I have found my comfort zone at the gym, and Diwali or no Diwali, I think it’s time to step up the workout game.

Here’s what I plan to do for the next 5 months (till before swim season arrives)- HIIT runs in the morning, a full body workout at the gym and an HIIT workout in the evening. It does sound like quite a lot, but with the amount of calories I am stuffing in every single day I need this to maintain the abs that have thankfully started to show once more. Plus there’s that 21km……*sigh*

Here is another set I designed the other day. Two sets, and I was done. Here goes-

HIIT home workouts
11-13 minutes, and you’re sorted. Make sure you only take a 30 sec break between each exercise.

Good Luck and hope you had a great Diwali!
