Dumbbells and Drama

Breakfast for me is the most important meal of the day. In fact I take my breakfast meetings more seriously than my dinner meetings (sorry not sorry) Want to discuss serious business? Meet me at 8:00am. Want solutions to problems? Meet me at 8:00am. Want to take me out on a date? Meet me at 8:00am. All this with good food of course. I wake up starving, eagerly anticipating those paranthas, pancakes, eggs, coffee, sausages, French toasts and what not that wait for me at the table.

You get the drift, I love breakfasts. If you want to get me to cook, you know it’s got to be breakfast. I’m taking this opportunity to share with you a healthy breakfast recipe that is also delish AF. True story. It’s tasty enough to be carried in the lunch box for that evening snack too (It’s a total hit at my workplace!)

Recipe Credits: Samarth Ahluwalia

1/2 cup wheat flour
1/2 Cup rolled oats
6-8 almonds, crushed
1 tsp cocoa powder
Vanilla essence
2 bananas
1 scoop protein powder (optional, but preferrable)
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 whole eggs
2 whites

Mix them all together, drop some of that batter on to the pan and voila! Your protein pancakes are ready!

Let me know how you like them! 🙂
