A Full Body HIIT Favorite

I am back after a vacation, and I am SO excited to get back to life here. I’ve been inspired to do so many new things, I cannot wait to get started. Plus I’m stoked about hitting the gym and switching on that beast mode again :) We walked around 20km everyday for 2 weeks and even cycled around Rome and got back with great tans *tee hee* I had expected some weight gain during the vacation, but I’ve got back more defined than before. So of course I want to work out more and set new standards of fitness for myself. Starting off with this HIIT today – NOTE- This requires great stamina and needs to be done with only 10sec intervals between each exercise. Do it at your own pace, it gets easy and less painful as you get used to it (which took me 2 weeks LOL)…

My First Marathon

It’s not easy, if that’s what you were expecting. The first run, the first marathon, the first race, it’s always about the nerves and anxiety and anticipation. Every runner talks about preparation first when asked about their first marathon; the actual run comes second. It’s the same in my case. I started running solely for the purpose of losing weight. I didn’t know zilch about fitness except for “I need to be thin” I started running 5km every day. I realized I was clocking in 5km at a stretch in 30-32minutes. Realising that I could put in a lot more effort pushed me to do better, and I perfected the 5km in 26-27min within a few months. I got a lot of appreciation from fellow gym goers, all athletes or runners. Which is when I decided to register for the Pune International Marathon. Let’s fast forward to the evening of 3 Dec…

What Is The Big Deal About A Sports Bra? by Miss Lingerista

It has got to be a sign from the universe when you’re thinking of asking one of your favorite Instagram accounts for a collaboration, and they get in touch with you at the exact same time you thought of the idea. Not going to say much except “Hey guys, you need to check out Miss Lingerista on Instagram because she is one of my favorite people to follow there” One look at her page and you will know why. Over to the boss woman- Just like you wouldn’t play soccer without shoes to protect your feet, you shouldn’t exercise without a proper sports bra to protect your breasts. Why is it so important to wear a sports bra? To decrease the number of hard-ons in the world So we don’t get smacked in the face when training To flatten our boobs while playing sports (so, they don’t get in the way)…

Arogya Spa : Hyatt Regency Pune

Massages are under-rated. After all that working out, your body NEEDS a massage, a fact that people tend to equate to a luxurious life only. How you get the massage is completely up to you, but make sure you do. Why? Read carefully. Did you know massages can help you workout better too? Before you think it’s all just a waste of money, here’s a little something about massages and spas that might interest you.- A massage helps loosen up your muscles after an intense workout, which allows you to recover from the impact better and faster than you normally would. It improves blood circulation and helps soothe sore muscles. A massage helps you stay flexible. Massage therapy promotes improved sleep patterns. A massage stimulates the lymphatic system  Deep tissue massages are great stress-relievers for muscle tension and cramps These are just some of the benefits of a good spa.…

5 Ways To Eat Smart With Gaia Good Health

Well, I’ve been trying to eat healthy. While I do work out almost every day (30 minutes a day)I am keeping a strict check on what I consume. Being a total foodie I’ve found it extremely to control my cravings for carbs and sugar. Over the years I’ve learnt how to set aside 1 day a month for pizza, 1 cheat meal a week and I also time my snacks as per my workout (eg : sugar is digested till 2 hours after a workout, proteins are great for post-workout, etc etc) Plus you know how they say it’s 40% gym and 60% diet? Yeah, so that’s true. Avoid junk for a week and you’ll see the difference in your body. In this post I’m going to share a few examples of what I eat, and hopefully I’ll be able to inspire some of you to make healthy lifestyle changes.…

Busting Myths Related To HIIT

“Oooh HIIT! I can save time and lose weight AND get a tone with only an HIIT routine! Life is sorted.” If you’ve said this to yourself at any given point in your lives, you need to read what I have to say. I should have written this earlier, my bad. 5 Minutes To A Happy Life

** This article has been written by Dimple Dhalwani Depression is more common than what you think it is, it’s just  the intensity that makes the difference. Whether it’s been a temporary phase of depression or a long term disease that you’ve been dealing with, let’s admit it, we have all had our low moments. Not convinced? Losing a job, death of a loved one, death of a pet, break ups, all of them make us experience depression in some form. Social rejection, peer pressure, any form of abuse, or even unequal treatment of siblings in childhood can lead on to depression. One thing to note here is that while we realise we are suffering, we do not wan to do anything about it. In fact there are times when we don’t want to accept it either! If we do wish to accept it, we make it an internal struggle and tell ourselves that…
